Afghan Capital Railway Corporation
Afghan Capital Railway Corporation (ACRC) is the sole and leading Afghan railway company providing a wide range of services from survey and design to construction and operation of railroads. Though the company has newly been established in Afghanistan, but it is technically connected to internationally recognized railway companies in the region and globally who possess decades of valuable experience and expertise in the field. ACRC is not only ready to undertake a variety of study, survey, design, construction, quality assurance, operation and maintenance work in the railway network of Afghanistan, but also to invest in production of sleepers, quality control and railway infrastructures in the country.
We believe that railways could play a pivotal role in economic development and growth in Afghanistan and facilitate the realization of the ambitious goals of the country becoming a transit hub connecting Central Asia to South Asia as well as historic routes of Silk Road and Lapis Lazuli. We intend to transfer the up-to-date knowledge and technology in this particular field to Afghanistan and develop a pool of expertise in the country.

Message from President
Though the Government of Afghanistan and the international community have realized that railway network could play a key role in rejuvenating the war-torn economy of the country and contribute to peace and stability, the technical challenges, human capacity and funding remain as major drawbacks to the implementation of Government’s masterplans for railway sector. To tackle the aforementioned challenges, Afghan Capital Railway Corporation (ACRC) has adopted a vision to become the provider of world-class study, survey, design, construction, operation and maintenance services in the railway sector in Afghanistan as well as to invest in production, infrastructure and quality control of railroads in the country.
We believe in and committed to realize our vision through developing a comprehensive strategic framework and strengthening the local resources and capacities to make it more efficient and sustainable.
